Edge Lee offers self-contained accommodation that is available for self catering holiday breaks in the Peak District, located within our home on the quiet Bishops Lane in Buxton. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of Buxton, with its Opera House, the Devonshire Dome, the Octagon and the Pavilion Gardens. The Pavilion Gardens has something for everyone with its beautifully landscaped gardens, bandstand, extensive children’s play area and small gauge railway.
Edge Lee is situated on the edge of the Goyt Valley and the Peak District National Park is on the route of many of the popular walks near Buxton and is in a quiet country lane, despite its close proximity to the centre of Buxton. Maps of the Peak District and surrounding areas are available for use by guests, and we are happy to provide local knowledge with regard to walks, running routes, cycle paths, local attractions, etc.
The accommodation offers a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room and a fully fitted kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher). A smart television (Internet-enabled) and free wifi are available. The breakfast bar has high-level seating on stools, and the lounge area has a coffee table with a sofa. The accommodation also benefits from gas central heating and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
As our accommodation is on the first floor and up a flight of steps, access may be difficult for disabled customers. However, please discuss your needs with us and we will do our best to assist you.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the use of our large, secluded rear patio with table and chairs plus the use of a gas barbecue.
We are able to provide secure accommodation for bikes, within our garage, if this is required and the use of a hose for cleaning.
